Tidewater Motorcycle Safety Training Program

Stand-by Policy: TMSTP has a "stand-by" policy at each of it's training locations. If you would like to try to get in a class that is full, you can arrive 45 minutes before the scheduled start of that class. At approximately 1/2 hour prior to the scheduled start of class, the instructor will conduct a lottery drawing of all stand-bys present. Numbers will be drawn and the person with the lowest number gets the first "No-show" opening, next lowest gets the second "No-show" opening, etc.

Registered students are told to arrive early to complete all of their paperwork prior to the start of class.  Class begins promptly at 6:30 PM. Any registered student not in their seat at appointed start time of 6:30 PM loses their seat with no refund given The stand-by students are then asked to fill out the class paperwork, their tuition fee is collected and they are officially enrolled in the class. Stand-by students being accepted in the class must pay their tuition with cash or money order (made out to TMSTP). No checks or credit cards will be accepted the night of class.
